Yayoi Kusama :: Infinity mirrors art exhibition @ the Hirshhorn museum in D.C. :: beautiful modern art show ::
hi cuties ♥
I just wanted to bless you with some art culture today! I was fortunate enough to have an awesome friend who took me to the Yayoi Kusama Infinity Mirrors exhibition at the Hirshhorn musem in D.C. 💕 I had been wanting to see this exhibit since it was in L.A. last year but I couldn't get in to see it then. Once I heard it was coming to D.C. I was super excited but the tickets were constantly sold out. I am so glad that my friend took me along to see these works of art!
It took about 2 hours to get through the exhibit because it was so overly crowded (and this was with the ticket system in place). You had to wait in line to get in each exhibit and then were only allowed to stay in each installation for a total of 30 seconds. It was very rushed but the artwork was really cool. The last installation was interactive (you were given colored dot stickers and you could place them anywhere in the room).
